Special Events
The chart below can help you plan the sanitary guidelines for your event. More restrooms may be needed than specified if you want to prevent people from waiting in lines, The anticipated male/female ratio at the event may effect your requirements since women on average take about 40% longer than men to use restroom facilities. If you are serving food and beverages (especially alcohol), you might also consider ordering additional units.
To use the Planning Chart:
Determine how long your event will last.
Determine approximately how many people will attend your event.
With this information, use the chart to calculate the number of units needed to insure sanitary conditions

Construction Sites
OSHA recommends one toilet for every 10 men/women over a 40 hour work week. The addition of sub-contractors, or overtime will affect the quality of the service attainable per toilet.
